Yep, and Mayan women used to cross from the mainland in less.
You can test the tanks you breathe or - dive on hope.
    Testing is safer...

Great news for vacation divers who cannot talk themselves into buying a personal CO tank tester!

    >> Rent one for a week or longer here <<
Now let's see more CO readings in your trip reports, ok...??

We see people driving at highway speeds into areas of near zero visibility. One of the most recent had around ten people killed. Would you let your wife or kid go across the channel in one of those during a thunderstorm?

No, its the name of a guy that came up with some annual awards dealing with cleaning out the gene pool. Come to think of it I have not seen any of those awards for quite some time.

    That's a joke, right?

The "Darwin" of the Darwin Awards is Charles Darwin.

    DEAR GORDON,

    Dear Gordon,

I am sorry if my level of sarcastic humor got past you and others, but for many years there were published on the Internet, "The Darwin Awards". These were stories about people who did extremely foolish things to kill themselves, thus removing themselves from the gene pool --and improving humanity in the process. Charles Darwin of course was the guy who figured out the concept of survival of the fittest, indeed our concept of evolution, thus the dedication of these awards in his name.

From people putting rockets in 55 chev's and running into walls, to those improbable fools who died doing even more stupid things, the "Darwin Awards" have a great place in Internet history.

In my opinion, anyone is capable of being a candidate for the Darwin Awards, and Cozumel is no exception. Try a google search.

It didn't, hence my question, but since you did not indicate you were joking, I could not be sure.
