Gabi Loco - Service Dog Fundraiser

Gabi Loco, a longtime divemaster in Cozumel, was paralyzed more than 3 years ago in a dive accident that was discussed at length on this site. He has been in a wheelchair since then and has had to make many adjustments, learning to use a wheelchair and dealing with physical limitations.

Gabi has a chance to get a service dog to give him back some of his lost independence. A GoFundMe account has been established to raise the money to purchase the dog, a 2 yr old Belgian Malinois named DJ (who LOVES the water!!). DJ's training is being donated by a friend but even at cost, the dog is $3,500.

Please consider donating to Gabi's fund and help get him a four-legged best friend who will help him every single day! Share with your friends and let's get this dog to his new life in Cozumel!! The link is below:

Wow I can't believe that Gabi has received 30% of his goal!! That is really great!

We're getting there! The generosity of the dive community is amazing and means SO much. We really can make a difference! Gabi went diving with some friends yesterday and, despite the rain, really enjoyed the underwater time and even snorkeled with his kids (who are growing like maniacs)! Sincere thanks to everyone who has donated and/or shared this fundraiser with your own friends.
