How much discounts do you usually get if you dive 5 days in a row with a dve shop? What's the on going price for 5 day 2-tank or 3-tank boat dives? Thanks.

Blue XT Sea gets $310 for 5 days of 2 tank diving, plus 10% tax and 20 peso marine park fee.
Do the other dive OP's include taxes and fees in their prices or do they add them on the end of the bill?
Last time in Cozumel (June this year) we dove with Alison and her rate was $57.50 for a 2-tank dive. Works out to $287.50 for 5 days. The advantage of doing it this way, is if one day, due to "la tourista", a Corona rebound (aka a hangover), or just a day off to scope out the east side, you're not on the hook for the whole five days. That rate also included the marine park fee and there was no tax. However, don't forget the tip...
YMMV, but send an email to Alison (alison@scubawithalison.com) and ask for a quote. Small, fast boat with a super captain (hola, Carlos) and great dive master.
Dive with Martin offered us $50 per 2 tank dive when three or more dives were booked. The great thing was this included equipment rental if you needed it. Also, if for any reason you decided to skip a dive , they would refund if you let them know the night before.
Dive with Martin also gives you unlimited free shore dives, has 4 fast small to medium sized boats, tries their best to separate beginners from advanced divers(if you'd like), gives you a free video of diving, gives you a free boat night dive, picks you up starting at 7:30am going as far north as Plaza Las Glorias, and charges nothing extra for Maracaibo, Punta Sur, and other far south dive sites, spends their surface intervals on beaches, charges only $9.00 extra for Nitrox... all for $250.00 for 5 days.

Ok get your priorities in line. As you can see there are many pkg deals on Coz.
1st know what you want from a dive op. 2nd decide on your dive op. That is the most important thing then shop for pricing. Expensive doesn't always mean good and neither does cheapest. There are around 100 ops on the island. Happy shopping.

I've got a Caribbean soul I can barely control and some Texas hidden here in my heart. JB
Price is only one of the factors. I just wonder what kind of deals or promotions out there.
There are certainly many variations besides price and number of dives. Some have 45 min bottom time and some have 60 min. Some throw in free shore dive/night dive and some let you add 3rd afternoon dive for $10. Some give you free video. And some offer nice snacks besides water and fruits.
I usually take a look at the reviews on different boards on the dive shops. As sometimes one board could be dominated by a few individuals promoting one or two dive shops. Safety is my first priority.
