Plastic cover for Archimedes II

Greetings.

Sometimes things are just like hen's teeth to find....Where can I get the plastic face plate cover for my computer? I've tried cleaning it and using tooth paste for rubbing the scratches out but no cigar! Also the wrist pins?

TIA!

Jack

Just happened to see this earlier today. I'm considering buying one as it meets my criteria and my Uwatec just died two weeks b4 my trip.

So how do you like it? Any problems?

I have an earlier version. I believe the newer ones have updated their algorithm and have added a gauge mode. Only problem I had with it was forgetting to set the Nitrox % before each dive. Pain in the butt sometimes. I'm still using it after four years and no problems.

I bought it originally because it has the big numbers. These are OEM'd by Seiko and these are all basically the same computer as a DiveRite Duo, Archimedes II, Tusa and another one that escapes me. You can go wrong with it.

I was looking for the lens cover for the wrist computer.

Appreciate the link though!

Cressi Archimede 2 feedback

I've just used mine yesterday for the first time on a couple of dives. I'm quite satisfied with it. the depth gauge on it was eithr exactly or just a foot off my suunto analog depth gauge. It was probably just a minute or two more liberal than the NDL on our dive masters Suunto Vyper. Mine was set at its most liberal setting at the time.

I really like the big digits which makes it really easy to read. The alarm could be a little louder as a couple of times I barely noticed it was set off by my fast ascent. So far, so good but I'll give an update when I get more dives on this.

Aesthetically, it looked a little too big the first time I saw it but after a while it kinda looks cool.

The documentation's not very clear. That's probably my main complaint.

Btw, I think it was an APEKS brand that the previous poster couldnt remember that was internally similar to this dc. I dont recall the exact model.

Thanks, Al! I didn't think of looking on DRX.

Seiko OEM's the same computer for Apeks, Dive Rite, Cressi and Tusa. I like it and would buy another. However, since I'm cheap, I'll see who is running a sale, but Cressi seems the least expensive for the same computer.

Okay, gang.....second question. Anyone know the size hex wrench needed to remove the cover on the back to change the protector cover? I bought a 1.5mm and it's too big...
