Gulf Shores parking

Easy question. Where is the best (free) place to park in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach that is like across the street from the Gulf? Doesn't have to be near the Whiskey Wreck. I know about parking at Perdido Pass and have dived there. Want to just dive in the Gulf. Thanks.

Dead End of West 5th Street offers public parking in north and south lot without a fee. It also happens to be within walking distance of the Whiskey Wreck.
