I'll be at the jetties in PCB, but only snorkeling...the kids don't want me to leave them to "go on the other side" in the pass! But I do have a few dives in the next month or so planned for the jetties!

I'd pick a charter boat ;-)

But Panama City is the better dive. Access is easier, and there's more life to see.

Awesome, thanks! Last I checked the waters were expected to be bad and charters aren't going out this weekend due to weather. Looking forward to it anyway, thanks for the help!

I've been to the Jetties in PCB more times than i can count...I always see something new each time...ever heard of a Southern Star Gazer? yep.. last time I went! I live in PC and this is the cheapest diving you can do... $8 bucks for a car to get in, and air fills and gear are just a half mile or so away. I only use Divers Den when i need get my stuff when heading to the park.

I quite like the PC jetty dive. Meh, on the Destin jetty. I have seen sharks, schooling fish of all sorts, octopus, morays, rabid raccoons, drunken rednecks, turtles. Giant sand dollars, deceased, can be picked up in the hole off the end. Last summer I had a fairly large bull come by me as I rounded the end, surf entry, just as I began my descent, he showed me no noticeable interest. I have never taken my camera in due to all the sand. By the time I leave I am covered inside and out in quartz sand and all of my equipment as well. Now that I have a cheapo GoPro 4 Silver I may risk it if I get there this summer. Bring a good knife and even some shears or line cutter. N

Would you be up for diving the jetties around 3/18-3/24? I'm looking for a dive buddy.
