who ever is suing needs to actually read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence for that matter-maybe some writings from Jefferson-we probably all should.
The Bill of Rights acknowledges (not grants) you rights to free speech without worrying about intervention from the Government. If I want to stand on the steps of the capital and yell that gun owners are idiots-that's my right. If I want to go to an NRA meeting and yell the same thing-they can kick me out-Government need not be involved.
What sort of ^&%$&* brought this suit?
I swear, the lack of understanding of some basic stuff in this country is scary
The plaintiff is not from the USA. Believe it or not, there are people living in other countries and they are not prevented from doing anything by our constitution. And yes, "basic stuff" in other countries is even scarier. (I've lived abroad).
We still live in the greatest country in the world. Many of the founding fathers were lawyers. Let's stop abusing lawyers. Posters in the other thread are baying for their blood on one hand and begging for pro bono service on the other.
