I also thought I was the first one to think of the brilliant idea of putting my scooter on a leash during deco until I saw his link
The one I made worked perfect on my X last night.
Genius, pure genius
With drygloves I like my leashes to be a bit longer. The nylon maybe 12 cm long. For an X, a double ender is an adequate leash. For a short Gavin I have a loop of nylon cord under the band clamp, on the bottom. The towcord makes an adequate leash if you pull it though that and then stow it on your front dring but behind you. Towcord through the front strap (particularly on a Gavin) then right d-ring clipped is crummy on these 2 scooters.
