DIR info and site please

Also John Liddiard from Diver Magazine has been doing research on DIR lately (he isnt a DIR diver but tests all the equipment that "Diver" reviews) for next months edition. He consulted with the members of the DIS-UK DIR yahoo message list of which i am proudly a member. DIS = Doing It Simple. DIS-UK was started by Underwater Explorers in England who have a close affliliation with GUE in the US. If you dont know much about DIR then perhaps John Liddiards article in this months Diver magazine will help.
