Anyone going, especially since last weeks' trip got canceled? Might get into the mid-40's this time, but hopefully not windy! Wondering if it is worth dragging myself out for one last set of dives...
I only have a single steel 120 - was just going to rent one more as well as a pony from LVDC had we gone last week. Maybe a dry suit rental would have been a good idea, but I think I may have to face up and accept the season's end!
I am on the Stolt dive Wed 11/26. There is room on the boat.
I did the Emerald with the a few weeks ago. Decent wreck but not much to it. I would guess it is an old wooden ship that's rotted mostly away. The engine (boilers?) are up out of the sand with some associated machinery, and there are objects poking up here and there but its not an intact wreck. There was some pretty cool sea life (some of which got eaten by divers later that day).

Hah! I was thinking of the Empress of Ireland, not the Emerald. Wendy's post about Scubapalooza reminded me of it. Funny the tricks the mind plays on us.
