Unofficial end of summer this weekend. How is it, that it always flies by so fast, but winter never seems to go away. I need to seriously start researching extending summer weather this year.
I think the only option is going south. It isn't nice that Irene seems to have left slightly chilly weather in her wake.
I'm curious if he is diving the Straits of Mackinac. We'll be doing a DNY/SB trip there in a year or so......maybe 2013 depending on how vacations work out .

The last two mornings I left the bike parked and drove in, it was so cool. In the spring, after a long harsh winter I consider 46d riding weather. At the end of the summer 46d does not seem quite so inviting.
56d today, so I rode!
I am not ready for winter!!

Generally when she heads back to Canada it is a minimum of 4 weeks, but normally longer.
Now that is timing with the car!

Funny story about the new car. I pick it up this afternoon and trade my existing car in. So I am driving to work and it has been making a clunking sound for a while (CV joint I have believed)......I get to work and go to back into my parking spot.......clunk, no move at an idle which it normally would. Drive forward a bit, Reverse.....clunk no move at an idle. It finally backed in but I need to drive into any spot at the dealers later (assuming it does not fall apart on the way there). No I have to leave a bit earlier than planned to allow for breakdown time.
