I just put this onto the calendar too, but we have a couple spots still available for a private charter on the John Jack to Block Island. Last year this was a fantastic trip; sleep aboard the boat anchored in Block Island each night, wake up on the dive site to a fresh cooked breakfast, dive, lunch, and return to Block Island for dinner that night. Air fills each night included (bring all the O2/rebreather supplies/etc you need as it's not available on the island). We load the boat Thursday night 7/14 in Montauk, dive Friday-Sunday, and return to Montauk Sunday night. Very reasonable cost for 3 fantastic days of diving; we plan to hit the U-boat among other highlights. If you're interested in more details let me know!
How much: $465 includes sleeping on boat Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights along with breakfast and lunch. Dock in Block Island where we'll go out to dinner.
What sites: U-853 (~130'), USS-Bass (150'; we'll do another site afterwards for anyone not qualified/comfortable) and a series of other wrecks depending on conditions, the rest all <130'.
Fills: Air top offs every night from the boats compressor are included. You'll need enough tanks filled to do two dives the first day, as well as any deco gasses you want for the trip (no O2 or nitrox available on the island). Rebreathers welcome, you'll need all the O2/scrubber/etc for the weekend.
PM me for any more details or if you want to chat about the trip.
