After a few months of battling and working I finally built myself a new computer. This thing is amazing and with prices so cheap (except for hard drives grrr...) it's a monster. I am finally able to load tons of programs I could never consider before. Gimp was high on my list. Now that I have it loaded, do you guys have any suggestions on the best way to color correct my UW photos?
By the way, I am a life-long programmer and have already become fair in the scripting language of Gimp, so if we come up with a decent generic method for color correction I'll write a script that will perform the function on an entire library of photos and share it.
yeah, I know he did and I searched and searched...
Meanwhile I found some (poor) suggestions form some other source and I did script it. My script will scan an entire folder and recreate all the photos with the "rebal" applied. Now all I need is a good red-shift balanced algorithm
