    right, Dec. 26-30.

topside? not much within Padre Burgos. Some old churches in Malitbog (north) and Maasin (southwest). More in the website, I think.

There's plenty to do topside - walks, waterfalls, caves, cathedrals, beaches, snorkeling, sailing, etc, etc. Check out Padre Burgos Castle Resort at padreburgoscastle.com - perfect for the family, and can arrange all these activities and more.

I wanted to go there earlier this year, your post reminded me that I have to get there soon. How did you like that resort it was one of two that I had contacted and considered using?

    Cheers,
    Roger

I emailed both resorts early 2006 inquiring about whaleshark diving. SBSR was the 1st to reply to my inquiries; so there.

I 've been there twice already (Feb and Dec 08). I like the rooms, the dopey burger, bangers and mash and moose and squirrel. Good dive ops. Napantau dive site is my fave in the daytime. Padre Burgos jettty is only good to dive at nite. You'll know what I mean when you see it in the morning.

Superb - beautiful place, wonderful food and really helpful people. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!
