    Call for Scooters

    Call for scooters

The Tahoe Benchmark 2009 will be held at Lake Tahoe during the week of 27 through 31 July.

The Benchmark is seeking understanding scooter owners, willing to loan the use of their scooters for the test. Models sought are:

    • Gavin Short body
    • Gavin 26 Ah
    • Silent Submerge UV-18
    • Silent Submerge UV-26
    • Silent Submerge N-19
    • Suex Zeuxo ADV-7

The Benchmark does have a small amount of funds available to pay for ground shipping both ways. We're scooter owners and divers, too, so we'll take good care of your babies.

Any questions, please PM, email or call me at 775.338.2364.

    Thank you!

    All the best, James

Has anyone ever benchmarked a re-wound (1000 RPM) Mako? I noted mine ran a lot like an N-19 I tried this weekend while a stock Mako is fairly anemic.

Given the price of a new scooter in the higher performance class ($3500 and up) it would be nice to see how a commonly available and upgraded scooter compares.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but rather by the number of moments that take your breath away.

    Update:

Our prior arrangement for a Suex ADV-14 has fallen through (being sold), so if someone has one to loan, please let us know.

Also, through a bit of juggling in the testing schedule, we are adding a call for a Farallon Mk 7 or Mk 8 or Mk anything.

    Thanks again!
