Hi,
I just received my Lux-4 from DGE. While i'm happy with the light, the charger appears to have a solder ball or something similar rattling around inside it. As I live in Australia, it would be pretty expensive postage wise to send it back for replacement for such a trivial issue. However I assume that if I open the unit up to remove whatever it is that is rattling around, I will immediately void the warranty. I'm assuming that the screws will be hidden below the silver backing sticker.
Can you advise if it's possible to have it replaced locally, or if you will look the other way If I tear the sticker?
