Light at the end of the tunnel.... ?

On Monday the factory that produces the housing for the bluebuddy and assembles them informed us that they had some issues with the custom made screw/nut being used in bluebuddy. Those screw/nut are made specifically for us. Apparently in some screws / nuts the groove for the oring was at the limits of the specs and the factory was worried about possible leaks (clearly something we do NOT want to happen).

Yesterday the factory informed us that they were going to hand select enough good screws/nuts. Additionally, they were going to add one more pressure test to the process (first they will test for leaks the housing without the PCB, then they will test again the complete assembled unit). This extra step will add some delay....

Today, the factory informed us that they have completed assembly and test of all our bluebuddy and they were going to ship them to us tomorrow. ALLELUIA!

It looks like that - FINALLY - next week we will start shipping out the bluebuddy devices.

A big thank you again for all our Kickstarter backers and supporters for their patience and understanding during this whole process.
