We got them!
Yesterday FedEx delivered us a lot of nice presents: a bluebuddy for every backer
We immediately put them through our incoming inspection procedure (that includes one more pressure test), put the nice sticker on them and began the packaging / shipping process.
Our goal is to ship out all of them before the end of next week.
Android App
As mentioned in update #24, we are making substantial progress on the Android App. We have now an "almost stable" version for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and we expect to publish it by the end May. We believe this version should work also with the Galaxy Note 2 (but we still have to fix few errors for that specific smartphone).
Once we are done with the S3 / Note 2, our next target platform will be the new Motorola Droid and we expect to have a new version of the App for Motorola devices in June.
Another very interesting news is that Google recently announced that - finally - Android will officially support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) (but they did NOT indicate a specific date ... we, like many other developers, hope very soon!).
Spread the Word!
Again, thank you all for your patience and understanding during this whole process. Very very soon you will be able to show off your bluebuddy.
Put your bluebuddy to good use, share your logs with your friends, post your dive profiles on Facebook and - very important too - tell your friends to purchase their own bluebuddy either directly from us or from our dealers.
