Before you can use the SDC App for real diving in Gauge, Dive Computer or Nitrox Computer modes, you need to pair your smartphone with a Smart Dive Buddy sensor.
You also need to physically connect the sensor to the housing you plan to use.
To pair the smartphone with the sensor, first you need to activate the sensor by touching both contacts with a wet finger .....
.... then launch the SDC App, go to Open mode, tap on SmartDiveBuddy Sensor and then tap on SmartDiveBuddy Manager ....
In the Device Manager screen, tap on Scan for Devices and after few seconds the sensor should appear.
Once you see the sensor, tap on its icon and the smartphone will connect to it.
Please note that it could take several seconds to complete the pairing.
Once you have paired a sensor the App will remember it.
