    reverse squeeze and sinus goo

I got certified in October. I stsrted having equalizing problems from the start. I can equalize, but from my first open water dives, I have had reverse squeeze. When I go past 30-40ft I get blood from my nose, and after I have surfaced I get green bubblegum from my nose.( not trying to br gross, just trying to explain it the best way I can) My eardrums having stopped poping since dive one. I went to my GP and he gave me allergy medications, and that is all. It hasn't helped much, and even though he is a recreational diver himself, I don't think he is very familiar with diving related problems.

    1. Any advice for my problem.

    2. Any good diving docs around central Florida.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Fred

Call DAN for a referal to a dive related ENT specialist in your area.

Get an appointment and a check up.

Sounds like a sinus infection to me.

That is based upon my own experiences. I am NOT a Doctor, I DO NOT play one on TV, and I DID NOT stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

    Hope this helps.
