Any divers out there experienced a retinal detachment? The literature says there is no correlation, but I wonder if the subject has been adequately researched....

WELCOME to ScubaBoard!!!
I just read a thread in the medical forum about
this subject last week. Do a quick search.
In fact there's one at the bottom of this thread
from last year click on it.
Oh, and this thread will be moved to the Divers'
Medicine forum soon (My guess) ;
**Please post an introduction here in
"Introductions and Greetings" so you
can get a proper ScubaBoard HOWDY!!!***

I just ran a search using, "detached retinas" and found:

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

As nomaster mentioned the thread will most likely get moved to our Dive Medicine forum, so that you'll get better answers to your question. You could also just pop over there and ask the question again as well.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically from your profile, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or respond to in this forum.
