Contacted my closest glass cutting shop (glassier?) and after they jerked me around about the mm sizes, they said they would do it and it would be $20 EACH?!? No thanks, jerk. I know where to get the 52 online, but who can I get the 49mm from without paying a fortune? For a Maglite
Thanks
Jeff

I used a 49mm ultra violet filter for a camera. After taking the outer metal ring off it measured approx. 48.5mm. $0.99 + $1.80 usd shipping on eBay
Others have posted on the msn divelight group that they have tried the same and got lenses as small as 45mm.
I pulled a couple more filters apart and have found that different manufactures DO use different size lenses. A am sorry but the one that proved useful to me can only be identified as Korean made.
Just some food for thought.
