Yeah, I built an El Cheapo (bottom of page), and it was my first electronics project. Easy.

I spent 30 mins practicing with my new soldering iron on and old radio I took apart, and then went to work on the analyzer. Took me about 2 hours to finish the project. It works as well as any commercial O2 analyzers, because it's all about the O2 sensor (which you don't build) and the proper flow rate. I have analyzed with it hundreds of times and it still does the job perfectly.

Nothing complicated dangerous at all..

Great stuff. James, this along with your divelight have been very helpful. Now, does anyone have a quick guide to He analyzers?
