Have you considered taking a star-type mount from a different LED and switching the LED so that it fits in older designs?

I think that the size of the LED module precludes just replaceing an existing LED on a star....

Now that it's been more than three days, I can't possibly remember the costs... call it senility. I think the links I provided for the parts will get you the prices for everything except the o-rings (a few bucks) and the Lexan (also a few bucks). Most of it was cheap except for the MT-4 ($120). Everything else combined was about $40. I had about $160 plus shipping in the whole project. Sorry for the slow reply; for some reason this wasn't updated to my e-mail.
