I want to make a set of spring straps for my 12 y/o. I went to my local Ace and they don't have Stainless Steel spring material. Where do I get it. I don't want something that is going to rust out in a week.
I bought the SS springs from McMaster-Carr www.mcmaster-carr.com I think they cost about $20.00 back then (five or six years ago). I bought two SS 3/4" shakels from the hardware store and threaded screw and some locktite. Viola SS spring straps for under $30. Still working and get about 100 dives a year.
