I acquired an Ikelite aquashot 3 with the 35mm camera and would like any advice on retrofitting it with a digital camera. Has anyony had any experience? Or any suggestions?
Im not aware of anything that is known to line up , did any thing else turn up during internet searching ?
There are so many little cameras where the lens is too far to the left ( right?) to line up in the housing.
Also if the lens is a zoom, many of those can stick out too far and hit inside the housing. The most critical is the distance between the shutter release and the lens , since that cannot change in the housing.
If you use the aquashot flash you will need a camera which can turn off preflash.
summary
1. distance between shutter release and lens
2. camera does not need power on button or can operate directly from shutter.
3. lens does not stick out too far.
