Hey guys,
I've been dying to get back in the water, but have done something else to hold me off. I bought some 1" webbing and got a nice 50ft section of bungie. I created a quick goodman handle for my $19 Cree XML-6 dive light.
These LED heads are the same afaik as the ones andrewy uses in his canlight. They are very inexpensive and I love them so far.
With that said, here's what I created:

I used a lighter and a super cheap jewelers screwdriver to put holes in the webbing.
The handle also works fantastically with the strap on my 3mm and 5mm gloves, but I'm not sure how well it will seal like this.
