looking for a way ? how to convert my scubapro nova 200 light into red / focus light?

Converting to red LED is pretty simple, but converting it to red and white will need not only some LED surgery but also some new switching mechanism, a lot more complex and it really isn't very bright.

If you switch led from white to red be carefully on voltage red led have 2,5V , while white have 3,7V

the simple way to reduce tension is to add ( 3,7-2,5 )V /0,7A = 1,7 ohm resistor with 1,7Ohm *0,7A =1,2W that mean

ERJ-A1BF1R6U - PANASONIC - RESISTOR, THICK FILM, 1.6OHM, 1%, 2512 | Farnell element14 Slovenija (SMD because it is simple to solder it on LED STAR PCB and it is thin )


to keep reflector or not depends on experiments

But is there a more simple way?
Like red filter?....(where can I buy a substantial one that will make the diference?)
Or even Paiting the glass with a special red marker?

GR8! ....exactly what I was looking for


should I stick it at the internal side of the glass ?
( actually disassemble the flashlight head ?)
or the sticker should hold at sea water ?

Stick it on the outside. It should be fine for many, many, dives. If/when it starts to come off, peel it off and replace---you have a whole roll to use.

The trick is to be sure it fully covers the lens---any gaps will let white light through. Use an xacto knife, or something similar, to get a tight trim.

If you open the light and put it on the inside you need to be very careful not to compromise the o-ring seals.
