Hi I am looking at buying a used CF200 and was wondering if the suit need some adjutments is it possible to send in to DUI for that. Or is it a bad Idea to make some adjust ments post production. the suit I am looking at was cut for somone 5'8 170lb and I am 5'7 140.
Thanks for taking the time to answere .
Mark
The only alterations that we can do once the suit is built is the length alterations. We can remove 2-3" from the legs and up to 2" from the arms.
We do not do width alterations. There is a waist bungee that may take up some of the slack in the belly area. Otherwise, typically, it is not cost effective to alter the width of the suit. Removing all the sealing alone would take about 2 full work days...that doesn't even count than making the alterations and resealing the suit.
When it's all said and done, it would be cheaper to buy a new suit.
If you have the serial number of the suit, I would be more than happy to look it up for you and see if we can find more measurements the suit was made for. Typically, height and weight alone are not the best indicators of how a suit will fit.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
