Just wondering if it is legal to spearfish in NS in tidal waters. I have only found info on spearfishing in freshwater which happens IS ILLEGAL, but nothing on tidal waters. My plan is to go to a few sites around Halifax were I've seen a lot of flounder, and pollock while freediving. I thought it would only make sense to be aloud to spearfish for non-commercial fish such as the ones mentioned above considering any given person can fish for them with out any form of license unlike BFT, or halibut. Hope someone can help!
