Along with the launch of the ScubaBoard Portal, ScubaBoard has added several new features to our website including The InsideScubaC.om Directory. InsideScuba is a directory of commercial dive operators/shops but also a place to post and find dive spots around the world. Since this is a new service we are starting at the ground and that’s why we need your help! Since you are on this board odds are you dive and you probably dive often at one or more amazing sites, sites which belong in our directory! So, if you have a moment please head on over to our add a listing page and submit your latest dive spot to our directory so other divers can get a head start on picking their next destination!

Well there is some great diving in the Bay of Fundy. With the strongest tides on the planet there is always fresh food comming in so there is also new marine life coming in. But with those tides you must be very careful. 1 min off and they will pick you up in the US. Be sure to ask a local dive shop for a good place and time to dive.

A few of my favorites for the province of Quebec and others:

-Pointe-St-Pierre et Grande-Grave, Gaspesie (excellent spot for seal sighting, it's a protected sanctuary, they're not skittish if you're respectful of distances).

-Les Islets, Cote-Nord (strong currents, but there's more life to the square foot than anywhere I've been in the river)

-HMCS Nipigon shipwreck, off Rimouski (recreational artificial reef, fascinating AND safe)

-Navy destroyer off Lunenburg (Nova Scotia this one, same as the above, slightly harder conditions, since it's offshore), the name is HMCS Saguenay. Lunenburg is a lovely place, home of the Bluenose II.

-A string of wrecks between Brockville and Cornwall, Ontario. Varying difficulty.

-Les Escoumins (a must see).

-Carriere Morrison, near Hull. Nothing to see there, it's an old quarry, but it's my favorite spot to try new gear/techniques. It's like a giant pool, easy conditions, it's fun if you want to introduce someone to the sport. Somewhere at the bottom, there's a plane, a car, a small boat and a whale prop from a movie. Creepy as hell.
