I have to do some outside activities in the dark for about 4 hours and was wondering if I could use my morph light as my flashlight during that time. I know that it is bad to run some canister lights out of the water, but I wondered if this applied to the morph since it is only 1k lumens and LED. The manual does not specify. Thanks.

I don't think the manufacturer will give you the green light to use a dive light outside of the water, however I can tell you that I have had one running out of water for a very long time. When the lights were first introduced I was demonstrating them at the Scuba Show......all day long.
