Hello

Looking to get opinions on HOG regs.

I am tossing up between D1, D1 Cold or a D2 cold 1st stage to go along with my D1 second stage.

I dive primarily temperate waters however I will be progressing to colder waters in a few years.

I dive a long hose setup and at the moment only singles but the next step for me is most likely sidemount (still thinking about backmount twins though).

I've had a bit of a read online but it seems pretty inconclusive.

Alot of reviews have said the D1 swivel is a pain in the ass when diving singles. Would you agree?

Would diving the cold water 1st stage make any difference in performance or durability if I used them in warm waters? (I will also be taking these regs diving on holidays in very warm waters)

What regs would you recommend I purchase for my situation?

Cheers!

Mike

I would buy the Edge Epic 1st stage; i.e., the D2 without the rub-off black paint.
