difference between booking carpe diem/vita on own sites vs explorer ventures?

MALDIVES: I was looking at itineraries, availability, etc. And was left wondering if there is any reason I should try to book either of the Carpe's directly rather than book it through Explorer Ventures.

And is there any reason not to book through Dive the World, Caradona, Liquid Adventures etc?
