Hello, UK-based wannabe diver query here :)

Has anyone on this board used NDiver drysuits ? Any opinions - good or bad ?

(why NDiver you ask ? cuz thats what the local shop carries :)

TIA

Hi Blargh.

I am also based in the UK (South) and dive all around Dorset and Cornwall. My Northern Divers neoprene drysuit has lasted me six hard years and has been excellent. There are more refined suits out there and to be honest I've been thinking about a membrane suit for ages but never seem to get round to buying one. This is mainly because I know the ND suit is still OK and I'm so comfortable diving with it. The only thing about the neoprene suit is that you are limited to the insulation is gives. With a membrane suit you can vary what you wear underneath to suit the conditions. One thing I will say about ND is that their customer service is absolutely second to none and they have always gone the extra mile each time I have had occasion to use them.

Hope this is useful.
