Did a search on this forum for the last year?

I always rinse my wetsuit as soon as convenient, then hang it up out of sunlight to dry, but does it hurt to fold it up loosely until I get there? Something I heard elsewhere...?

thanks, don

Suits come neatly and loosely folde in the box when they are shipped from the factory. They are normally folded back at the knees and again backwards at the waist and the arms are folded diagonally across the torso. So loosely folding them is not a problem.

They are however heavier when wet and more likely to become creased so some care needs to be taken to ensure they are indeed only loosely folded and are not under a tank or weightbelt. A tank or weightbelt on the suit for any extended lenght of time is bad news as it will crush the neoprene just as effectively as a crease.
