Rock Boots, BARE Trek Boots or Other?

I am a relatively new Dry Suit diver. I have a Bare XCD2 with the compression resistant soft boots so I have the Trek boots to go along with them. I find them a little awkward to walk in...kinda like clown shoes (not that I wear clown shoes but you get the idea). Are Rock Boots better in that respect? I have also read that some people use regular wet suit booties with Drysuits. What are your thoughts?

I have the CD$ with the rock boots no complaints like a normal wetsuit boot

Try finding a shop that still sells Converse canvas shoes (or knock-offs). Remove the inner sole and you're all set.

I was surprised when I got my Rock Boots. They're the cheapest looking shoes I've ever owned, and among the most expensive.
    Original sin?
    No, I don't think so.

Oh yeah, wetsuit booties work OK too but they stretch a bit and let more air into your feet than Rock Boots. Just from pictures, the Rock Boots look significantly less bulky. They're an unlined canvas upper sewn to a pretty standard sole about 3/4" thick.
