hey got a guestion I have a wide face so allot of them low folum masks dont feel right so i bought a new mask its a parkway but the guy at dive shop said to use toothpaste on it first does anyone know why hum strang thank

Yup toothpaste is used to clean any gunk eg. silicon residue, grease, etc from the manufacturing process. Any gunk on the glass accelerates the fogging process... btw use a antifog on the glass before each dive to prevent grief! Toothpaste has a very mild abrasive that won't scratch the glass... rinse well. Also repeat as needed.
