Currently dive with Twinjets. I wear a drysuit and Bare Trek boots. The twinjets are size large. They fit just right. Nice and snug.
Was thinking of now getting the Jets. If getting them in large, will it be the same fit? After all its the same maker/brand. Or might I have to get a different size?
Reading some of these threads, I'm now also looking into the other options like the Turtles and Rockets. I'm not a strong swimmer. I'm 5'4" tall and 140 lbs., don't want my legs to fall off after 20 kick cycles, therefore want the fins to fit snug and not make me feel like I've been swimming for miles. Maybe I'm asking for too much.
Don't want them to be long or heavy.

If you don't want heavy, you don't want Jets, Rockets, or Turtles. Maybe something like the Dive Rite fins, or the OMS fins woud be more to your liking.

The very same! They weight about 1/3 what Jets weigh. Or so it felt to me. I haven't tried them in the water though. No OMS dealers anywhere near me...

thanks sound good to me...searching prices and sources now...

Be sure to check the fit. I don't know the pocket size in comparison to the win-jets.

Turtles only come in one size -- "tripple extra huge". If your feet will fit inside the smaller XL scubapro foot pockets go with Jets

With fins "longer" actually means less effort kicking. Turtles are short, wide and stiff, jets are a bit longer and narrower. But then Mares "Quatro" is even longer and less stiff. Jets are cheap enough that you can buy some just to try them out. Sell then for $50 and not loose much. If you are used to your split fins you are likely using a fast flutter kick. This will NOT work with jets. Big and slow kicks work with jets. It took me a couple months to adapt from my mares Quatros to my Turtles. I tried some tusa split fins recently and it felt like I had no fins on at all but then I noticed that I was moving resonably fast forward but could not turn or stop and I had little "control". They are all good. I'd like to buy a set of twinjets in XXL size for dive where I just want to "cruise", Jets for reefs and photography.

going to see what my LDS has and test what they have for starters.
