Fin Buoyancy

Are fins supposed to have positive or neg. buoyancy, or does it vary? Seems to me that with your legs in a wetsuit and booties you're probably positively bouyant below the waist, and if the fins are positive you're going to nose dive.

My Sherwood Trek fins seem to be positive, and float. Therefore I added ankle weights to counterract.

They vary.
