Just learned my dive shop provides masks starting a 1.0 diopters; my one lense is prescribed at .75; is it unhealthy to go up from .75 to 1.0?

As I already said in the other thread, I did go a .25 up. It's fine.

Indeed, at 0.75 diopter you are borderline for whether or not you need a prescription mask.

I agree, have you dove much w/o correction? You'll probably see just fine w/o correction, and I believe it would be better for your eyes than overcorrection.

I'm on the opposite end of the scale. I can't get lenses that are -7.5! I usually just dive with my disposable contacts.
