I have SP Seawing Gorilla fins, and I am wanting to put spring straps on them, I was wondering is anyone could give me an idea on how to take the pin out that holds the old straps and connectors in place? They look like the pins are just rivetted at the one end with a larger head at the top, but I could be very very wrong, and would like so ideas before I possibly mess up my fins.

Thanks for any ideas.

A dremel tool works best, but a good pair of shears, or a file will do the trick as well.
This is the surprise part!

You can also try just prying them off with a flat blade screw driver. That's how I get the buckles off Jet Fins. My old Rockets wouldn't play, I had to use a Dremel with a cutting wheel to cut the pins.

This is the buckle on my Jet fin:

To take it off is real simple. Just take a flat blade screwdriver under the buckle, behind the pin. Pry up, it will pop right off the pin. Move it over so it's not on top of the pin, and push down. The buckle will pop off the pin on the other side. Now just take a pair of pliers & pull the pin out of the fin.

Wayward, I saw some people with your spring heels on a charter the other night. They were very impressive to everyone and seemed like a real quality product!
