I have a well loved pair of Aeris full foot Velocity fins. They are in great shape AND have split the heel. Yes, I have purchased my next pair... with heel straps, but want to explore any repair options....any experience with this? These fins are distressed at the thought of permanent retirement... Bob

Howdy and welcome to SB!

I see they got you moved to a better forum for answers. :thumb:

It does help with discussions if you complete your Profile. And it's even more fun when you load an Avatar (personal pic for each post) and a Profile pic. See UserCP to access these if you'd like to...?

If you haven't yet, click Forums above and start going thru the list - looking for those of interest to you, especially your local dive club. Click the link in my Sig below to PM me if I can help you around here..

If neoprere cement will work on the pocket material (and I think it might) you could apply a generous patch of 3mm material. If the tear came from the pull point I fear they are down for the count.
