You should first ask what fins people have used and then for their favorite pair.
Apart from crap rental fins, I've used Tusa x-pert zoom split fins and Scubapro XL Jetfins. I prefer the jets (better for alternative kicks), although the splits were better for the flutter kick.
edit: I've also used turtle fins with my drysuit (jets were too small with my trek boots), and they were fine (almost like jets), but I still preferred the jets just a little better... Could have just been the fit, the drysuit and other things, but they felt floppier.
Also the foot pockets on the jets are crap. If any manufacturer is reading this then please make the a new jet fin - same as old (heavy rubber compound) except with a modern foot pocket and in different colors for those who don't like black. I bet the demand would be there...

This area is frequently used for messages: personal, impersonal, impertinent, imperfect and immaterial. It can also be leased for a very reasonable fee

The world's most powerful fin is (was) the Farralon FarraFin. Wear one of these and you'll push anyone out of the water in a direct comparison, anytime. Hands down. (No, you can't get them probably, they're no longer made. Mine are not for sale). The braces make the difference, not the blade.
My second best-loved pair are Jetfins with spring straps. They're easier to use for Frog kick, reverse etc. since the FarraFin doesn't tilt sideways in the ankle.
That's for my diving and my physique. Your diving and your physique are likely to be different enough to make the above meaningless for you.
