    spring strap-are they interchangeable?

I was looking at spring straps, are the different companies fins interchangable with most fins?

looks as if it would slide over the post on my current fins, are these post/mushrooms/what ever you call them, a universal size? If they are, why is there such a large variety of prices for similiar items?

The one I have bolts together so if I wanted to upsize or downsize, I could leave the brackets on the ends, and just connect the different length spring strap. It may depend on the model that you have.
