Atomic "Smoke on the Water" fins ID help

I was looking around for fins and someone is selling a pair of Atomic Aquatics Split Fins "Smoke on the Water" but without the spring straps.

Is there a way to positively ID the smoke on water atomics against the normal black atomic split fins if you don't have the spring straps?

    Thanks in advance!

There may be some confusion here...

Other than the color, these are the same exact fins. SMW-variety is only different because they only come packaged with spring straps instead of the normal straps (which by the way you can buy separately for any other Atomic fin).

So... if the color matches, you have SMW. Black fins are.... solid black.. SIW fins are a more translucent, sepia tone when looked through.

We used to carry an all black version, which is a different compound than the Smoke. The Smoke are slightly iridecent if you hold them to the light. The old style came with the standard buckle assembly are are a very "solid" black.
hope that helps and doesn't confuse

ah, I was under the impression that the Smoke ones were stiffer than the standard atomic splits.

    thanks for the information!
