What you should know before you buy Aeris Mako Open Heeled Fins......
Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone considering these fins......which by the way are very comfortable. These are fins are extremely wide. I purchased the size that matched up to my size 7 foot, but I have a narrow foot, "B" width. This is not a fault of the manufacture, just the way they are made, but in case you are buying on line, without the benefit of getting to try them on, this might be beneficial to know. It might also be nice if Aeris would mention that these run wide when they are describing this fin. I managed to hang on to mine for 20 or so dives but recently lost one in heavy surf while shore diving, again, these fins are much better suited for wide feet. If you have a wide foot and need a great shore diving fin these are great and they also pack nicely in the Dive Caddy backpack system, but if you have a foot like mine you'd better look for another product.
