Dive shops near Comfort Inn Oceanside, Deerfield Beach, FL

I will be coming down to Deerfield Beach in a few weeks and will be staying at:

    Comfort Inn Oceanside
    50 S. Ocean Drive (A1A) , Deerfield Beach, FL, US, 33441

I have been advised that there are dive shops & boats very close to this hotel but the staff at the hotel didn't know any names.

Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sy

You can always go to Dixie Divers. http://www.dixiedivers.com I dove with them a few times, and I always had a good time.

6 miles south (Atlantic Ave/A1A) is the Sands Marina. Scubatyme Charters and South Florida Diving HQ are both there. Parrot Island Scuba is just up the road. I prefer Scubatyme myself - all are good dive operators.

Walk out the front door, cross draw bridge in front turn left into the cove shopping plaza, Dixie Divers the home of"The Lady Go Diver" is there. Literally less than a 5 minute walk. We've used DD many times, and have always had a good experience with them. Their phone number is (954)420-0009, Boat runs every day. They can also afford you a discounted rate at that hotel.
