terrific conditions on wed as noted on the previous post on pickels reef(deeper thoughts). yesterday left the dock @0800 for a double dip on shallow south molasses after the prior days eagle ray gathering(photo guys this time). as stated before, blue water, viz 35ft(particulate sediment), light current, water temp 77-78F, depth 25-35FT. winds freshened to 20kts. after our 2nd dive(each about 90min dives)(minimal surface interval) and back to the dock by 1200z. only one shooter(thanxs to tim and bob) has sent picks, more to follow. forgot to add that there was a large sawfish observed by myself departing a sand patch beneath the boat as i backflipped into the water . my 2 dive buddies were unable to get a shot(or see it) as the animal rapidly departed towards deeper water. the molasses reef tract never ceases to amaze me,,,,,,,,,,,,,
