Do y'all dive during the week?

That is crazy! I guess it's safe to say that the BHB is a popular place.
hi tide on the 24th is 9:39...we usually start our dives about 60 minutes before hi tide...around 8:39, so I'd suggest you plan to be there before 8:00 to set up gear and get weighted for salt water

I would add weighted for "shallow" salt water......

I would like to add a "should have my head examined" report as well from Sunday.
Worked a long shift and was up most of the night but dragged myself to the bridge Sunday morning thinking it would be empty due to the cold temps and howling wind.
Couldn't be more wrong as we saw a ton of regulars but didn't have time to chat.
Headed out front not finding much but think I ran into Jet (or someone with Joanie written on her tank) and gave her my best UW howdy.
Closer to the channel we found a beautiful, large pike blenny that was not camera shy and finally a pair of dragonets, which have somehow eluded me till now.
Good stuff. Will try to post pictures later.
    John

Dove with a Bouyancy Babe today. We were only in for 2 hours and 29 minutes but it was a nice dive. Viz wasn't so good and water varied between 70-73F (depending upon how close to my buddy I was).
Not much to see except octopus, a northern stargazer, two pregnant lined seahorses and a manatee....no batfish

Thanks for a nice dive Jen, and I'm glad you got to talk to the Captain

(For those who don't know...it is impossible not to have great dives when accompanied by one or both of the Bouyancy Babes)

    Another manatee?

6 Dives for me at the BHB and still no seahorse siting. I will have to expedite another trip south.

That's not unusual. Sorry.. I dived there for a couple years before I saw my first one.
